Two Chevrolets Make the List of the Year’s Elite
The winners of the 2009 Automobile Magazine All-Stars Awards have been announced. One of the broadest lists ever compiled, the magazine calls these ten cars the year’s fastest, most exhilarating, ingenious, awe-inspiring, accomplished, and compelling cars available in the U.S.
Each year, the editors test, evaluate, and debate the cars that make the biggest impact. This year’s list ranged from the sleek and sexy Jaguar XF, to the cost efficient Honda Fit. Newcomers like the Ford Flex joined repeat winners Chevy Malibu and Volkswagen GTI. The Corvette ZR1, Audi R8, BMW 3-Series, Porsche 911 and Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG helped round out the list.

El antiguo circuito de Montjuïc ha vuelto hoy a la vida para acoger a algunos de los mejores coches y pilotos del mundo. Más de 200.000 personas, según la Guardia Urbana, se ha congregado en torno al legendario trazado para trasladarse a las diferentes épocas del automovilismo en el Parc de Montjuïc.
Por primera vez en más de 30 años, el antiguo circuito se ha cerrado al tráfico para reservarlo de forma exclusiva al homenaje que tanto merecía este histórico trazado por su 75º Aniversario.
Más de una veintena de Ferraris han abierto el desfile, por el que han pasado vehículos que participaron en las carreras de Montjuïc durante sus diferentes épocas: R8s, GT's, Prototipos, Pegasos, Fórmula 2, y Fórmula 1. En total han sido más de 100 coches, 80 de ellos clásicos, los que han participado en este homenaje en forma de desfile al antiguo circuito urbano, que lleva 32 años sin albergar ninguna carrera.
