This is the first time I've attended a pre-game American Football Tailgate.
I must admit there was more to look at there than I expected... classic cars, helicopters, piles of trash; they just about had it all. ;)
None of the Mayos ended up watching the American football game because it was raining. We went and saw "Wall Street" at the cinemas instead.

A Local Authority holds an annual series of concerts called the Big 7 which culminates in the Big Weekend. I was provided with a collection of stills graphics and footage and asked to edit a short piece to promote and illustrate the event. Essential brief was to try and capture the community spirit and good nature of the event.

As you may know, I love to sing. This past weekend I had the honor and privilege to perform before 1,000+ people attending the camporee celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. There was a huge conga line, a beach ball flying through the air, a mosh pit and people asking for an encore. Now I know how "real" rock stars must feel. It was pretty cool. Listen in as I sing Lee Greenwood's "God Bless The U.S.A." and Louis Armstrong's "What A Wonderful World". Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan arrived to a rapturous reception at a special screening for Peepli Live at Cineworld in Feltham. What made this screening more special for Aamir Khans fans was a special Q&A session Aamir held with his fans. Aamirâs fans fired a whole variety of questions to which Aamir answered in his cool chilled out personality. Aamir talked about a host of subjects from controversy surrounding 3 Idiots to his trouble in his early days as well as Piipli Live.

After a downwinder late last week, we were rinsing off our gear and saw Dave Parmenter. Dave is a master shaper and co-founder in C4 Waterman. He's the guy that designs and shapes their boards. Dave is one of the early pioneers of stand up paddle surfing and I found it interesting that he considers Todd Bradley his paddling coach for downwind and racing. Dave's paddling in the Molokai to Oahu race this weekend so I thought it would be a good idea to film a quick interview and get some tips.

http://www.wowcamping.com We made it! Us diehard campers spent the weekend with Hurricane Earl. We all had to pay for our amazing summer season together with rain and lots of blowing wind. There were a number of trees down, lots of branches and twigs blown about however no one had been hurt. One trailer got a branch through the rooftop, another patio have also been speared, our sign blew over and sadly Camper Dan's vehicle was obviously a write-off after 2 trees came down onto it. However we survived and everyone at this Nova Scotia Campground got together and put things right!
