Four friends are wandering in the forest, getting pictures for a photography class when they stumble upon a mangled corpse, shackled to a tree. The boys taunt it, thinking it to be no harm, but when one of the boys decides to take its eyeball, things go awry. Now, the monster named Fred is coming after the boys one by one, to kill all of them and anyone who gets in his way.
'Evil Fred' is intended to be a campy, fun, and comedic horror film. With style gaining inspiration from Sam Raimi's 'Evil Dead', BlackHall Productions' first feature-length movie is interesting, fun to watch, and definitely "gore-tastic."

Sparkle is not at its heart a gay film, but if you
know the work of Neil Hunter and Tom Hunsinger
(Lawless Heart, Boyfriends), or if you like watching a
good film with a queer sensibility, then you'll love
it. 22-year-old Liverpudlian Sam (Shaun Evans, who
played a gay character in Teachers) comes down to
London with his cabaret-singing dotty mother to change
his life for the better.

Needless to say, THIS is the start of the summer blockbuster season. Between the conclusion of the Green Goblin storyline, the introduction of Gwen Stacy to the otherwise happy couple of Peter and MJ, and of course, the Venom twist, it looks like Sam Raimi has one huge ride in store for us on May 4. We hope you enjoy our Preview of Spiderman 3, weâve got all sorts of scenes to share with you, including the birth of Venom in the bell tower, and an absolutely delicious love-triangle scene.

Alright boys and girlsââ¬Â¦ we just saw the midnight showing of Spiderman 3 and man, is there a lot to say about this movieââ¬Â¦ mostly because there is about enough story going on in it to make up two or three movies, but somehow Sam Raimi manages to jam it all into one. How successfully? Well, our review is a bit mixed, but if you disagree with us, and even if you donââ¬â¢t, leave us a comment and take us to task!
