Arizona's starting pitching has been good as advertised this season but their bats have been outstanding as the D' Backs opened the season 11-4 in their first 15 games. The Diamondbacks are averaging over 6 runs a game leading Major League Baseball and hitting .273 as a team second in the National League. Despite hitting .263 as a team the Padres aren't scoring runs as they average only 3.3 runs per game second last in all of Major League Baseball. Chris Young was tagged for 6 earned runs and 7 hits over 7 innings in his last start versus the Dodgers. Young isn't striking out batters like he used to and is struggling with command as he has walked 12 batters in 17 innings pitched. Dan Haren has given up only 2 earned runs over 12 innings in his last 2 starts. Haren only allows only 1 base runner per inning and doesn't walk too many batters. Haren has gotten the strikeout this season as he gets 1 per inning and will face a Padre team the worst in baseball striking out averaging about 8 per game. ...

The Jets can’t be happy with their quarterback situation, as both Kellen Clemens and Chad Pennington were ineffective. Pennington is coming off two shoulder surgery’s in recent years and questions will always remain about his arm strength and his poor ability to throw the deep ball. The organization may have given up on Pennington as Clemens was heralded as their quarterback of the future. The question is do the Jets want to risk that precious first round selection on a weak crop of quarterbacks?? It’s doubtful so they will look at a wide receiver to help their passing game. The pups and I have often encountered this nice lady who lives on the street- often under the Red Line trestle. I asked her permission to record her telling her story, and she gave it.
I'm not a doctor, lawyer, or investigator, so I can't verify the details of her story, nor do anything about her present circumstances. But I can treat her like a human being, give her a voice, and bring the dogs down for some love.
That's the point of these videos- giving a human being the chance to tell her story, and be treated with some respect and dignity.
