Playthrough Part 2.
Video shows. Ice Cap Zone. Launch Base Zone. and Mushroom Hill Zone.
Playthrough Part 1. The video was too long so i had to cut it into 5 parts. I will use hyper sonic in this Playthrough . I also will show some cool bugs in this too. I will try not to go too fast. Lol. The video is shows. Angel Island Zone. Hydrocity Zone.. Marble Garden Zone. Carnival Night Zone.
This is it. This is the end of Sonic's game. These next boss battles involve the fight with what would be the final boss for Sonic if the 7 Chaos/Super Emeralds weren't collected (as in, you had to have all 7 of either; no mix between the two) and the true final boss at the Doomsday Zone.
I might do Knuckles' game one of these days since his game, though shorter, is different from Sonic and Tails'.
But, for now, I'm gonna record myself playing through every stage of Super Mario Bros. 3, as I've said in the first video's description. Not at this exact moment, of course, because I need to take a short break...
The Sky Sanctuary and Death Egg zones. Can't really say much about this other than that Act 2 of Death Egg really gets on my nerves at times...
I've decided to include the last two boss fights of Sonic's game in their own video.
Lava Reef and Hidden Palace Zones! Well, I finally died and it happened more than once. Controlling Hyper Sonic got to be a bit too hard in this video. Later on, just before the Lava Reef boss, I die a few times. Even though I lost everything at the end of the that boss fight, I got lucky and survived to the end!
The next video will be of the Sky Sanctuary Zone! I hope that I'll be able to abuse Hyper Sonic's abilities without messing up!
I finally got the the remaining 3 emeralds! I gotta be honest: This video used to be two different sections. The sections were split by the end of the first act and the beginning of the second. I really wanted to get all of the remaining emeralds, but I hated starting both acts all over again. On top of that, I forgot where the giant ring I normally go to in the first act was, so I ended up cheating by watching somebody else find it in some YouTube video. I kept having to redo the second act over and over again because I kept messing up on the special stages. Eventually, I got everything right and edited the two videos together with WMM.
Man, I could not find one giant ring in the Flying Battery. You can tell I was looking for one in both acts, but failed miserably.
Oh well. I usually find the last 3 that I need in both acts of Sandopolis. Everything's gonna work out in the end. Once I get the ability to go Hyper, I hope that my videos will be a lot more interesting because for one thing, I won't be playing as slowly/awkwardly as I have been in a pitiful attempt to collect all of the emeralds. Also, when I go Hyper, I'll more than likely act reckless, which will probably result in my death, but oh well. It'll be worth it.
Part 4: Mushroom Hill Zone! I find it strange that just like in the first zone of Sonic 3, I was able to collect 4 Emeralds in the first zone of Sonic & Knuckles and I also find it strange that it also took the whole video, very close in length to Part 1, to record just one zone...
Anyway, I would've obtained 5 Super Emeralds in this video if I didn't get nervous and mess up at the end of that stage. I was so close to being finished, too! Hopefully, I'll have at least the 5th one by the end of the 5th or 6th video. I really don't know the relative location of any of the emeralds in the Flying Battery Zone, so I'm not expecting to get any in that part of the game...
This one is much shorter than the last and the sound quality is also much better, in my opinion.
In this video, I finish the Ice Cap and Launch Base Zones. This concludes the Sonic 3 stages. In the next video, I'll begin the Sonic & Knuckles stages and hopefully, I'll be able to get at least 4 of the Super Emeralds within the first zone, mainly because I don't remember where any of the giant rings are in the zone right after it.
In this video, I'll be going through the Hydrocity, Marble Garden, and Cranival Night Zones and collecting the last 3 Chaos Emeralds. I didn't get a perfect ring count in the 7th special stage like I wanted to, but I think I came pretty close. I think the only rings I missed were loose rings in locations I didn't bother going through.
I apologize for the the poor sound quality. My volume was up too loud and the the sound got clipped, which is why it sounds so choppy. Please bear with it. I stopped here only because I felt that the video was getting too long.
In this series of videos, I'll be playing through Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I won't be using save states at all except for when I'm beginning a new video since, most likely, I won't be playing through all of the zones at once. Chances are, if I mess up really badly, I'll just load the save state (which will always be at the start of a Zone) and start the whole video over. This isn't any special kind of run, so don't expect me to be perfect. This is just for fun. That doesn't mean that I won't be trying my best, however.
I would like to apologize for any instances where I pause, because most likely, I was scratching myself somewhere or handling something else for a second or two. In later videos, I'm gonna try to avoid pausing as much as possible.
Once I'm done with this game, I'm moving onto my all time favorite 2D Super Mario game: Super Mario Bros. 3.
By the way, if anyone has any suggestions on increasing the quality of my videos, feel free to let me know as I don't do this type of thing very often.
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Game Review! Sonic Adventure 2 is Review #59. This is in my opinion the best Sonic 3D game ever made. Just so everyone knows. The Konami logo at the end of Sonic Adventure 2 was a trailer for Legend of The Mystical Ninja. Its just a typo =P
Here's a video of the Angel Island Zone of Sonic 3 & Knuckles for the Sega Genesis. Yes, I have all the Chaos and Super Emeralds in this video.
