There are two rooms available in a beautiful villa in the prettiest part of Heliopolis, Cairo. The area is called Korba and it is lined with white three-story buildings with wide sidewalks covered by buildings with arches. This villa is right behind Salah Salem, which is a 4 or 5 lane road that leads to downtown and everywhere else. This is highly convenient. For anyone at AUC or any of the new settlements, this is the closest that you can get (Maadi is still further) and still be considered inside Cairo. The metro is 10 minutes by cab, although it is half an hour walking. One of the rooms available has no Air Conditioner but it has a Private Half-Bathroom. It is available starting this weekend. The other won't be available for another month, but it has an Air Conditioner. All rooms have a balcony, varying in size from medium to small. There is one terrace that leads from the living room and there are no tall buildings in front, just trees. It's an old style villa on a small side street in Korba, and the ceilings are high, there are four balconies and lots of light and you don't have neighbors right next to your balconies. The rent is currently at 1150 EGP for the room without A/C and 1575 EGP for the one with A/C. The contract is up for re-signing right now so the landlord might want a slight increase, however, he may just leave it as is considering that there are much less foreigners. The rooms are available only for foreign females.

June 4, 2012 - Coach Matt Campbell - "UT Football" Matt Campbell was named the University of Toledo's 26th head football coach on Dec. 12, 2011. Campbell has spent the past three seasons as the Rockets' offensive coordinator. During that time, Toledo's offense has consistently been among the most productive in the nation. Campbell played a big role in Toledo's resurgence in 2010, a season that saw the Rockets go 8-5 and make their first bowl appearance in five years. Prior to his service at UT, Campbell served as an assistant coach at Bowling Green for two seasons, one as the offensive line coach (2007) and one as the offensive line coach/running game coordinator (2008).

Skin cancer patients whose childhood included periods of neglect or maltreatment are at a much greater risk for their cancers to return when they face a major stressful event, based on a new study. The research suggests that such experiences during a person’s youth can set a lower level of immune response for life, which in turn might make them more susceptible to the kind of cancers that are often successfully fought by the immune system, so-called immunogenic tumors. While the research focused on patients with a fairly benign form of skin cancer -- basal cell carcinoma (BCC) -- the findings appear as a warning for patients to be more vigilant in concerns over their health for the rest of their lives. The study appears in the June 4, 2012, issue of the journal Archives of General Psychiatry and is the latest in three decades of research linking stress and immunity that have been led by investigators at Ohio State University’s Institute for Behavioral Medicine Research (IBMR).
