Your cat litter box could be affecting your mental health. An infection tied preliminarily to suicide attempts has been known to grow in cat litter boxes. The microscopic bug, Toxoplasma gondil, is actually present in about one-third of the world’s population & is found in cat litter boxes.

If you feel any thoughts that are becoming darker than usual, it’s not bad to mention that you have cats, and therefore a cat litter box in a majority of cases, to your doctor.
