This video depicts the daily, living practices of a small, rural village in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam. Dr. Barbara Poremba tours the village, visiting the inhabitants and assessing their health care needs.

Joining her is nursing, honors student Nu Vo who is returning to her home for the first time in seven years. Nu Vo presents a health education class on birth control to the women of the village. They also tour a health clinic where they witness a typical birth.
