Gilgit, January 11: People of Gilgit Baltistan are protesting against Islamabad's plan to construction a dam in the ecologically sensitive Himalayan region. The mega project to be built on the Indus river have invoke the wrath of the locals who allege that they will neither get royalty for their resources nor get any access to the electricity generated here as it would go to power the Pakistani provinces.
