Before her stroke, Jane commuted from suburban New Jersey to her office in Manhattan where she worked as a project manager in the computer industry. She traveled a great deal, and sometimes found herself so consumed with work that she had little time to enjoy the simple things in life. That all changed 6 years ago when at age 44, she had a stroke that left her disabled.
