Newsreel Anaconda is a 30 minute show about the life of U.S. soldiers in Iraq produced by other soldiers. The first 15 minutes is a light-hearted spoof of Jay Leno's "Jaywalking".
The second half of the show is series of news stories produced by the men and women in uniform.
This edition features stories on service members getting in and out of country efficiently, transportation vehicle repair, combat logistics patrol at an outpost in Taji, controlled detonation of hazardous material and vaccinating and preparing to fight mosquitoes and sand flies. Hosted by Sgt. Alexandra Hemmerly-Brown.
