We went to the protest with an open mind, hoping to show our support for Immigration reform, and present the goings-on to the world, as it were. What we found when we got there is that the "state" has no interest in allowing peaceful protests. They want to keep anyone protesting in a paralyzed state of fear. Scared is definitely one emotion I felt.
