Are we alone? Might Earth be the sole exception to an otherwise dead universe? We shouldn’t be. The ingredients for life are everywhere — life should be common. But then, where is everyone?

William II, Prince of Orange, and his Bride, Mary Stuart, Anthony van Dyck, 1641
The boy is fourteen and the girl only nine. William’s father, Frederick Henry, commissioned
the celebrated Flemish painter Van Dyck to portray the young Dutch prince and English
princess on the occasion of their marriage in London. The union with the daughter of the
English king enhanced the status of the House of Orange. On her gown, Mary wears a gift
from William, a large diamond brooch.

Delve into a frighteningly brilliant but deeply troubled mind… This documentary reveals a very different Isaac Newton from that of popular myth – a much more fascinating and complex man than the powder-wigged puritan of the history books. Discoveries uncovered in this documentary piece together the dramatic and tragic tale of Newton’s dark genius. The great Sir Isaac Newton spent only a relatively small part of his life studying science. The rest he devoted to the ancient art of alchemy, heresy and predicting and praying for the end of the world. This documentary looks at this extraordinary period of Newton’s life when, at the height of his genius, he turned to alchemy and theology. Newton locked himself away to pour over the apocalyptic books of the Bible, maniacally searching for the date of the end of the world – an event for which he constantly prayed. Decoding long-hidden manuscripts, this documentary reveals Newton’s prediction of the apocalypse. At the heart of this documentary is an amazing paradox. How could a man driven by religious zealotry go on to develop our rational notions of science, and in turn destroy the notion of an omnipresent God, which he held so dear?
In which the headliners run through their whole repertoire and then some. Better get to work on the next EP if the audience are still hungry at the end.

The Journey Of A Lifetime is a new reality travel entertainment show... with a heart. By swapping passwords for passports, bandwidth for air speed and URLs for real locations, Journey Of A Lifetime helps transform the lives of young adults by enabling them to actually touch down in far away places that until then had been merely pixels on a computer screen. To take them where the Internet ends...and real life experience begins! Ready to start your own experience with Journey Of A Lifetime? Learn about the inspiration behind the show, meet our co-hosts, and register to become a part of this incredible adventure. The Inspiration "The world at your fingertips." At no other time in modern history has this phrase been more apropos, especially for today's youth and young adults. With the "i-Generation" making e-sites like MYSPACE their virtual bedroom and YouTube their personal stage, the Internet has become one great big global meeting place for them all. A place where young people blog, email, upload & download, file share and IM or just simply chat. Millions of like-minded community members using those fingertips to define themselves while staring into a 2 dimensional world. But herein lies a paradox of global proportions: those fingertips are stuck at home. Although technology today makes it easy for youth and young adults to expose themselves to places, people and things that would normally be out of reach, they still seek out adventurous and meaningful ways to enrich their lives. For many of them travel is the answer. But, travel can be expensive and in the US, travel is not encouraged and accepted as a right of passage for young people like it is abroad. So how do young adults on the hunt for self-discovery in the outside world get the opportunity? They go on The Journey Of A Lifetime!!
Paradox gave us an amazing freestyle, composed after reading our one-sheet on the project and wow, we are thrilled to share this burst of creative flow with you here.
Here's more about Paradox in his own words:
After 15 years as a devotee of the rat race, at the not-so-tender age of 34, i was gifted with the realization that the money, power, status, sex and material gratification that the marketing people had promised would make me happy...wouldn't. And so in a fit of peak, after a nervous breakdown/spiritual breakthrough (depending on your point of view) i gave up my £70K p.a. job in advertising and went to live under a tree in Battersea park. During those life changing 7 months, in the spring & summer of 2002, i sold the Big Issue magazine on the streets of Victoria and blissfully bumbled around Battersea like the bling-less bum i'd become. Why? Well, i had the bonkers idea that if i could go back to square one, start at ground zero (in other words become a nobody) and if i could let go of my ... Distributed by Tubemogul.
http://www.vernissage.tv | Mircea Cantor: Tracking Happiness at Kunsthaus Zürich is Switzerlandâs first solo show of works of Romanian artist Mircea Cantor. The centerpiece of the exhibition is a film created especially for the exhibition, âTracking Happinessâ. The video features a group of women clad in white sashaying in various formations barefoot across fine white sand. Their traces are wiped away by their broom-wielding successors. In this film, Mircea Cantor examines the paradox of an age in which traces are perpetually left and deleted. The film soundtrack has been composed by Adrian Gagiu.
Another film, created especially for the Kunsthaus is âVertical Attemptâ. The video lasts only one second, showing a boy trying to cut the water that is pouring out of the tap.

"This book covers medical advances that would once have been called miracles but are now merely routine. The patients' stories within this book yield hope, optimism, and triumph. This is the best time to come out of medical school and training. This fact will inspire and uplift everyone in the medical profession as well as all of us who must, at some point, rely on the art of medicine to see us through.

Dr. Fischers zest for life and his profession is evident in his stories of personal triumphs and failures and in his deep sense of joy and accomplishment at what doctors are able to do today.

New leaders must prove themselves quickly, but the quest for rapid results is inherently dangerous. Through a survey of 5,400 new leaders and their managers, Learning & Development Roundtable identified the 5 traps or problematic behaviors for new leaders to avoid on the way to a âÂÂQuick WinâÂÂ, and discovered how focusing on Collective Quick WinsâÂÂnot individual onesâÂÂcan drive the performance of both new leaders and their direct reports.
