This was a test shoot of a scene from a proposed film, written by my friend Scott Mullins.
It was a very quick and dirty shoot, with no planning beforehand - it was shot on SD, with no professional lighting - just a couple of table lamps and whatever natural light we had on the day!
It was shot entirely against greenscreen, with the digital set (created in 3ds max) and the compositing completed by me alone.
It was always intended as a test to see what was possible and what the minimum requirements would be when coming to shoot this "for real".
The music was provided by a talented musician - Danny Elliott - who will also be providing some tracks for some of my upcoming productions.
At the time of uploading, I am also working on animated menus for the DVD, which will include outtakes, a behind-the-scenes documentary (explaining how the digital effects were achieved - among other things) - and a surprise "easter egg"...! ;-)
This is version 2 of the original video. Changes include altered text, video length fixes, and a revised scene. All special effects are done by me. Music is "Emperor" (Piano Concerto No. 5, In E Flat, Op. 73) by Ludwig Van Beethoven.
A step by step process to attain any goal, no matter what it is. This is so simple it borders on ridiculous. Often times it's the simple ideas that hold the most power.
Here is an animation I made in 30 minutes. It's a simple bipedal animation done with 3DS Max 2009's Biped Rig. I just hid the upper body, and began animating the walk cycle. This is a simple test of my skill as an animator; the first of many. I hope you enjoy it!
Nolimits Machinima / AMV. I cant create a real Machinima with Nolimits, because there are only 3DS files possible without animation. J'ai fait un petit test d'animation sur la chanson caramell dansen (remix) je devait le projeter lors des projection de fin d'année de mon école (IMC-Normandie). Je l'ai fias sur 3Ds Max avec des marionnette d'entraînement puis je l'ai monté sur Sony Vegas.
Anthony DeGrazia(me) and Eddy Valdez's final project for our ROP Beginning Animation I class. While I have used 3ds Max a few times before, neither one of us were really taught how to use it. This project is being entered into a contest hosted by Autodesk for our school, and if we win, we can a licensed copy of Max 9. Hopefully we win (which I think we will) considering the few people who entered, didn't do nearly as good as a job as us (and even ours sucks, lol).
This is an annual ad for Butte County Association of Governments. - The bus was animation created in 3ds Max. The composition was done in Adobe After Effects.
This was a pre-vis example for a concept that was abandoned before completion. The Client was Brooklyn Bridge Bagel Works in Chico, Ca. Design done in 3DS Max
2nd year period 2 project: Culture allowed us to pick an artist and a painting and do several assignments with it, my choice was Gao Qipei's (and old Chinese finger painter) 2 magpies playing in a willowtree.
For the animation we had to add things from the culture and the time the person lived
the animation was made with 3Ds max, AEF and simple pen and paper (some parts are from a drawn out animation i made by hand such as the eye, looking up bird and some still shots other than that there are some things made with Illustrator that i added in: the flying birds and lips)
