This tutorial is about using FumeFX the cool plug-in in 3ds Max.The tool is really handy with fast setup and great effects, even outstanding than Phoenix Aura.I have change parameters may times, the main thought is let you all to know the effect to the final results. (actully that is my fault)

An animation I made for my 10th grade math class extra credit assignment. The project was around Pi (3.14) Day but I have no clue how the two are related. The 3D animation was made in 3Ds Max and the sound was created in NHC MixPad 1.13. It took around 6 or 7 hours of work to complete so I hope you enjoy it!
The original Enterprise makes an unexpected discovery while on routine patrol: a huge and ancient vessel making her slow, lonely way through the stars.
---
This was created as a study piece at university; the brief was to design "something legendary"... being a sci-fi geek, a generation ship seemed to fit the bill. The vessel was named "Galactica" in homage to two other beautiful ships who bear that illustrious name.
The Starship Enterprise is (C) Paramount. "Generation Ship Galactica", the animation, design & model of the Generation Ship Galactica is (C) S R Ellis. Enterprise model by buckky@buckky.com. Music (C) Kevin Braheny. Modelled, animated & rendered using 3DS Max 8.
Have you been worrying about what to buy your loved ones this Christmas? Fret no more as we have a fantastic item for you, a 'Genuine Authentic Japanese Sword'!!! You may think its uses are limited but you are simply misinformed and this commercial will prove otherwise!
This advert was created for college as part of a 'Motion Graphics and Video Compositing' assignment so it does contain video footage. If that offends you in anyway then this submission is not for you but note that other elements have been composited into the video from Flash, 3DS Max, After Effects and more. The piece had to be no longer than three minutes and show off compositing skills from different software packages.
Enjoy the video.

My 2D Animation done for one of my projects in school recently. The background music is "Dead Boy's Poem" by Nightwish. The concept of the story is somewhat inspired by the song itself.
All artwork done in Photoshop and Animations done in After Effects with some of the 3D elements animated in 3DS Max and composited in After Effects again.

Modeled, UVmaped (but not textured), rigged, and animated (the animations in this video at least) within 4 hours in 3DS Max 5. Was being made for the video game The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind. Was never completed since I quit playing that game and lost the desire to mod it. Maybe I'll start with the sequel, Oblivion. Haven't looked moding it yet.
Hi guys, here is my motion graphics demoreel that I put together to show some of the projects that I had the opportunity to work on. I wrote (co-wrote in some of them), modeled (2D/3D), animated and composited them. I also took the liberty to wrote the soundtrack and most of the sound FX. The 3D modeling was done in 3Ds Max 6.0. The compositing was done in After Effects 6.5 (along with the VFX). And for final editing for the demoreel, I did it in Premiere Pro. Feel free to give me any feedback. If you are interested to see online portfolio go to: http://seffil.50webs.com Thanks and have a blessed day
