Tarar Khal (PoK), Jul 03: People in Tarar Khal region of Pakistan occupied Kashmir took to the streets protesting against decades of misrule, discrimination and oppression by Islamabad. Disillusioned with the local leadership, that has largely acted as a stooge of Islamabad, people of the region raised anti-establishment and anti-administration slogans. Denied of basic rights and amenities for years, the residents of Tarar Khal have been demanding the construction of roads and a hospital. However, the authorities have turned a deaf ear to all their pleas and demands. In fact, they are made to pay taxes for the benefits they have never received. While blaming Islamabad for its deeds, activists urged locals to join the movement against Islamabad.
