David Beckham made history for being the first man to grace the Cover of Elle UK. Being the first man on the cover of the UK mag doesn't come as a surprise to Beckham, but his humility makes him even hotter saying he feels quote, "Honored to have been asked to be the first ever solo male fashion cover." The July issue, will be dedicated to the London Olympic Games. Editor-in-Chief Lorraine Candy said of the issue: "David Beckham is a national hero, so we saw an opportunity to shoot a celebratory cover to support a historical and patriotic year." Candy went on to say quote, "This is a first for us on the newsstand and I believe he is loved by men and women alike.
