The Red Riding Trilogy are a series of Films set in the North of England across the 1970s and 1980s. Similar in style and tone to "LA Confidential". It is fiction set in a very real world.

The Film "Red Riding 1980" is drama about police corruption and murder set in the backdrop of the very real Yorkshire Ripper murder inquiry.

The title sequence mixes actual archive material from the period, with actors reading actual police statements, and mocked up photos and police interviews. I created a opening title sequence that showed that the film was fiction in a terrifyingly real world.
