This artwork depicts the passing of time in the Urada region and at Australia House as well as showing the history of these locations. The artwork incorporates the picturesque scenery that I have seen and the sounds that I have heard in Urada depicting the relaxed passing of time. I believe the artwork provokes thought on the problem of depopulation (of rural areas) and the significance of the presence of art in Urada at this moment. The awe I felt at the history behind Australia House upon my first visit here and my intrigue at why the house was vacant was the trigger for the creation of this artwork. I adopted the format of exhibiting drawings inside the furniture which originally belonged to Australia House and set up this furniture in the centre of the room, whilst projecting the animation on the wall in the darkened room.
