A peaceful rally was held in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India on 15th November 2010 to oppose the ban on Endosulfan. Endosulfan pesticide which is widely being opposed vehemently by vested interest in India and across the globe has no proven correlation to reported harmful health effects. Endosulfan worker delegation was joined by Union Leader, Mahendra Singh Ramji Yadav, Bhavnagar MP Rajendra Singh Rana, Local MLA Mrs. Vibhavari Dave and Endosulfan plant workers who have worked for decades and have not been affected by exposure to the pesticide at the district collector’s office to submit a memorandum to withdraw the fraudulent NIOH report.
