In 2007 Purplemelon relocated to London and Tom discovered The Troubadour Club. The Troubadour was perfect for Purplemelon. Bohemian, laid-back, classily cool and with an impressive legacy, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Bob Dylan had all gigged there. By the Christmas of 2007, off the back of a very successful run of a dozen gigs at The Troubadour, the band started doing headline slots at Putneys famed Half Moon and a string of nights at The Rock Garden, The Soho Revue Bar and 93 Feet East.
