America has the ability to lead the world to preserve and protect out environment as well as to use technology available to day to begin reducing pollution and prevent catastrophic impacts to our environment and economy. Even more, solutions to important issues like, global warming will bring benefits like energy independence, cleaner air, better environmental health and more jobs. America can and must move away from our dependence on oil and other fossil fuels and towards a New Energy Future. We can do this by tapping into our abundant supplies of clean renewable, home-grown energy sources and by deploying our technological know-how to use energy more efficiently.
