Tessa was the first British journalist to work undercover in brothels by posing as a manageress or madame.
She spent three months as an undercover reporter working in 10 brothels around London for Channel 4's landmark series 'Sleepers' on the programme 'Undercover in the Sex Trade.'
The programme exposed the legal, economic and personal pressures on young illegal immigrants from Eastern Europe living and working as prostitutes in Britain.
