The BR135 Ultra is a 135 mile ultra marathon (endurance running event) held every January in Brazil in the Serra da Mantiqueira Mountains along the Caminho da Fe (Path of Faith Pilgrimage Trail) in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. It covers over 30,000 ft of total elevation gain and rained for hours creating very wet and muddy contidions. I finished the race in 7th place overall (out of 41 runners who started, but only 27 finished) in a time of 45 hours and 43 minutes. There is a 60 hour time limit, of which three finishers just missed by a few hours.
