Acarya Mantreshvarananda Avadhuta, Central Education Relief and Welfare Section Secretary, Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha, addresses the august gathering at Science City Auditorium Hall, Kolkata on the occasion of Parbaht Samgit’s Silver Jubilee Celebration on 27th October, 2007. He explains the noble multi-faceted contributions of Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar for the humanity, one of which is Prabhat Samgiit. Shrii Sarkar composed 5018 songs in 7 years time and the songs are in 8 languages. The themes of the songs are multi-dimensional like of social and spiritual awareness, revolutionary, seasonal, children’s songs, traditional Jhumur and Baul etc. Prabhat Samgiit means the Songs of New Dawn.
