The Veriti® thermal cycler has âVeriflex®â technology which during gradient PCR allows you to independently set each of the 6 individual zones rather than just set the high and low temperatures of a gradient
This means that optimization of a new reaction can be done using 6 precise temperatures, (giving the user more freedom to try varying annealing temperatures) and you can effectively run two separate thermal cycling protocols on the same instrument at the same time.
