Speaking in a press conference in Brussels on Thursday, commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs Olli Rehn predicted that the economic growth in the eurozone will come to a âvirtual standstillâ by the end of the year.
After unavailing the interim economic report, Rehn said that predictions are âgloomierâ than in spring, adding that ârisks to the growth outlook are tilted to the downsideâ.
However, the European Commission forecast does not consider the possibility of another recession
