World Champion swimmer Michael Phelps has announced a long term partnership with Subway restaurants. Mr. Phelps will be representing the brand and joins a roster of athlete partners that have included Michael Strahan, Ryan Howard, Kimmie Meissner, Tony Parker, Laila Ali and Reggie Bush.

Michael Phelps made history when he became the only athlete to ever win eight gold medals at a single Games this summer in Beijing. He also holds the record for the most gold medals won by any athlete with a record 14. Through his Michael Phelps Foundation, Mr. Phelps promotes water safety and advocates swimming for children.
