'The Colonel and Tyrone' centered around, KFC's Colonel Sanders and his black friend, short order cook Tyrone "Giblets" Washington. Produced by the Norman Lear sitcom juggernaut of the '70's, the show was originally conceived to promote racial harmony. It was axed during the airing of episode 2 when riots broke out in Detroit.
