For the first time in 65 years, a group of AJK citizens primarily representing the National Students Federation (NSF) lit candles and remembered those killed or driven out by the tribal mercenaries sent by Pakistan to take control of the State of Jammu and Kashmir. In particular, those Hindu and Sikh women who chose to jump into the Kishenganga River to avoid dishonour.
