Illegal is illegal and the laws of our country must be followed. I spent 8 years in the United States Coast Guard Reserve, I protected our borders, I know what it takes to do this. We need to make sure that our cities are not sanctuaries for illegal immigrants. It sends a bad word to our children, to say that we have many people doing things wrong that makes it right - that's wrong. We need to make sure that our borders are secure and that people receive work and support once they get here so that there is less illegal immigration. We need someone responsible who can protect you and the laws, that's why I'm running for the United States Senate, so that I can protect you, the citizens of Illinois, and the citizens of America.
