Originally recorded by me back in 1985, here's the first of various news segments that aired post Wrestlemania One and the first ever SNME. Its funny how WWE has tried over the years to diminish Cyndi Lauper's and belittle Mr T's large roles to attract mainstream entertainment to WWF. You'll also see the infamous clip Ive talked about how Channel 9 here in NY really embarassed Verne Gagne off a Zbyszko / Backlund match (15 Minute Mark). When you realize how different wrestling was back then, and how AWA was desperately trying to stay alive, you'll understand why we felt sorry for Verne Gagne when this aired. And oh yeah. Phil Mushnick was at it back then in 1985 too. You'd think after 24 years, he'd realize wrestling isnt going away. Enjoy! More videos will be uploaded soon. (And sorry about the low audio.
