Students at KIPP Bayview Academy in San Francisco conducted research on several issues within their community (hegemony, gentrification, social justice, political activism) and they combined their knowledge of these issues within multimedia. They produced a film displaying their knowledge of learned content. Finally, they put their theory into practice and organized a successful march for C.H.A.N.G.E. (challenging hegemony and neo-gentrification efforts) within the Bayview community.
