Dressed in black wetsuits in an effort to blend, Dymon’s filmcrew makes every effort to be near invisible with observing an ecosystem. Non-intrusive techniques allow the “cameraflyer” to gain trust and get incredibly close observations as the residents move about naturally albeit with some degree of caution they also recognize how awkward humans are in water. Dymon’s crew has successfully filmed species at their most vulnerable moment, at rest. This requires a combination of utmost patience, excellent scuba buoyancy control, and physically managing the 60-pound camera rig.
The result is the joy of visiting this beautiful environment any time you want.
