This is the 1st and Original film production of Frankenstein. While there are mild moments of Fright elicited in this first attempt to breath life to Mary Shelley's nightmare inspired Novel. It falls light years short of James Whale's 1931 Hallmark Masterpiece of Film making Genius and Boris Karloff's cadaverously bone chilling portrayal of The Monster which has yet to be surpassed by anyone else to date. Still enjoy this upon its own Merits. Film was Still in its Infancy and the Horror Genre had been little explored or developed by 1910. And would largely need to wait for the German Cinema to explore and Develop it after the grimness of The 1st World War.
