Regardless of your $.02 on Bryan Singer's cinematic revival of the Man of Steel, there is no denying the power Superman Returns has on the conversation. 10 years on, it remains a lightning rod for debate and that's what we love here at Movie Moan. Good, healthy discourse (pro or con) on all things film.
Our 3-hour discussion includes the Mastermind and Heart & Soul of the operation Phil Gee, myself, our pal Randall Maynard, Superman enthusiast and Designer & Columnist at Cracked.com and two gentlemen directly involved in the making of the film, Robert Meyer Burnett, director of the phenomenal documentary Requiem for Krypton: Making Superman Returns and Justin Korthof, Owner & Editor of the Official Fan Community Blue Tights.Net.
It should be noted this conversation was recorded and originally posted online as part of a series of retrospectives on the cinematic exploits of Superman leading up to the release of Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, back in 2013, which we also got to upon it's opening. We hope you fans out there enjoy and if you like seeing these again, the remaining specials on the other Superman films, including the afore-mentioned Man of Steel, will find their way here too.
