Navicat Report Builder allows you to create database charts to display a data table. In this tutorial, we will show you how to add a sales information bar chart in a report. In Navicat, click “New Report” to create a report. First, add a data pipeline in the “Data” tab. Click “New” in “File” from the main menu and choose “Query Wizard”. It provides a visual step-by-step wizard to guide you through the creation of a basic data pipeline. Follow each step in the wizard and select your desired settings for items such as tables, columns, calculations, groups, searching and sorting options. Next, go to the “Design” tab and add the “DBChart” component to the design panel. Right-click the “DBChart” and choose “Edit Chart”. In the “Edit Chart Control” form, add a new bar chart series. Under the “Series” tab, pick the new created series and select “Data Source”. Select “Data Pipeline” instead of “Manual” option and choose a data pipeline. Then, you can select the corresponding data source for the Label and the Bar. Click “Apply” afterwards. Finally, you can edit the chart properties such as the Chart title and Axis labels. You can click the “Preview” tab to preview the chart report.
