‘Old Money‘ is about the responsibility that comes with owning ‘old money‘ and the fear of losing them. The song is also a commentary on capitalism as an economic model and a critique of the distribution of wealth in Western societies. Money and power have always been a popular couple and the few that have both will do anything to keep them. The video for ‘Old Money’ is directed by the film maker Anders Walter, who won an Oscar Academy Award for Best Short Film in 2014 with his short film ‘Helium‘.
