Since 2003, Volunteers of America and the Major League Baseball Players Trust have been encouraging young people across the country to get involved and volunteer in their communities. The :15, :30 and :60 PSAs of the Teammates campaign aim to engage and energize youths across the country to heed the call to service by demonstrating that everyone can make a difference in their community. This PSA shows that high school students can have a profound impact in their communities when they become "teammates" on the Action Team. The PSA also demonstrates the continuing growth and popularity of the program, and when students join the Action Team, they are joining a team that is "50,000 strong!"
