The EcoCAR Challenge (http://ecocar.newslinevine.com/) is a student auto competition between 16 colleges. The goal of each team is to minimize environmental impact by reducing petroleum energy consumption, increasing vehicle energy efficiency, reducing greenhouse gas, all while maintaining the car’s performance, utility and safety. They’re into the 2nd year of the three year contest, and the students are finally getting to road test the vehicles. Check out the video!
