Another exhibition P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center in Long Island City opened as part of the Opening Fall Celebration is a show with a highly aestheticized environment by Norwegian artist Børre Sæthre. The visitor is guided through futuristic sound and design until he finally reaches a white box with a unicorn inside.
“Each room transports the viewer into otherworldly scenarios in which Sæthre’s use of materials divorced from their previous contexts, such as acoustic tiles, and LED lights, function as compositional elements within this totalizing installation.” (excerpt from the press release).
Børre Sæthre lives and works in Oslo and New York.
