In September 2012, the Westwater Views Strata Council refused free cameras offered to them. Furthermore, the Council even attempted to order the removal of a camera that was covering what several residents considered the 'Gaza Strip' --- a firelance that is pitch-black at night and apparently a favoured-route for trespassers. Worse, the Council omitted the "free camera offer" in its Report to strata condo owners.
