With support from Hitachi Power Systems America, Minnesota Power (MP) completed construction of retrofit project at Boswell Unit 3, within 80 days. This project resulted in reduction of SO2 and NO2 emissions by 99% and 92% respectively, accomplishing Minnesota Power’s mission of reducing environmental emissions.
