In Nursing homes;
careful sanitation is required; to kill and remove the viruses. Particular care must be given to washrooms, bedding and equipment; as well as all; common area surfaces such as door knobs, counter tops; where the viruses can be trans ferred. To sanitize these surfaces; an alcohol based sanitizer and detergents; are not considered effective. Vapor steam heat above 140 degrees Fahrenheit will kill the viruses on contact.
