The Doctor is being driven to a U.N.I.T meeting and on the way there is a car crash that injures him, he is taken to a roadside fast food restaurant where he meets Jane Tarrant who he befriends, his old friends the Brigadier and Benton however are having strange dreams of a mysterious figure in black who threatens to remove the Doctor purely for the purpose of creating chaos throughout the universe, can the Brigadier, Benton, K9 and Jane Tarrant stop this mysterious figure who calls himself the Trickster.
