Susan Blond began her career as a painter with a one-woman show at Harvard University and an invitation to be a part of the Whitney Museum's acclaimed Independent Study Program, which through the years has helped foster the careers of many influential artists, including her classmate, Julian Schnabel. Susan immersed herself in the New York art world and quickly found herself a part of Andy Warhol's inner circle, spending her time at the Factory and acting in Warhol and Paul Morrissey movies.
