April 8 2009 Waukegan Harbor, Illinois Lake Michigan. Out with the Hewk and Russell P after JUMBO Perch (Perca flavescens) It was close to noon by the time we got our lines in the water. The bite was fast and furious as we seemed to hit the tail end of the morning bite. Before the morning bite shut off we were able to land a dozen JUMBO Perch, most weighing 1.5 - 2 pounds...
