President Barack Obama managed to soften the "buy American" provisions in the economic stimulus bill. Former Democratic Congressman James Bacchus wishes he'd been able to eliminate them altogether. In this edition of Inside the Deal, Bacchus, who chairs the global trade and investment practice group at Greenberg Traurig LLP, tells The Deal's Suzanne Stevens that protectionism poses a serious threat to free trade, and it's up to the President to keep it at bay.
