SpringerParker - Memoria

The Memoria performances are surveys of specific places or landscapes, where we collect traces and fragments in forms of frottages/rubbings, photographs and surround sound recordings. During the performance the materials are transformed into moving images and soundscapes by special techniques and custom-built software and apparatus. By means of reduction and consolidation we explore our personal perception of places and landscapes and how we recollect them.
