After her parent's death, she goes to Mumbai to live with her Paternal Uncle, Tina's family. There Anjali and Viren meet and fall in love. Viren and Vishal are two brothers who are close and are always there for each other, until Anjali comes into the picture. They are torn between love and brotherhood. Unknown to Vishal, Viren and Anjali are in love. He sees her at a function and falls in love with her. Surprised and glad that Vishal found someone he wants to be with, Viren and his family goes to ask for her hand in marriage. In the end, the girl Vishal wishes to marry is none other than Anjali. Devastated and not wanting to ruin Vishal's happiness, Viren backs out and breaks up with Anjali. Anjali has no choice but to marry Vishal.
